Weather and climate are not the same, and they should not be confused.

Definition of Weather: state or condition of the atmosphere at a given place at a particular time, as defined by the various meteorological elements –temperature, pressure, humidity, clouds, winds, precipitation, etc.

Definition of Climate: the synthesis of weather conditions in a given area, characterized by long-term statistics (mean values, variances, probabilities of extreme values) of the meteorological elements, considering all weather events affecting the region over an extended period of time, typically 30 years.
